Odoriashi (踊足) – Full gallop on the left lead | Japanese Equestrian Print

A Japanese rider from an Edo-era scroll, riding Odoriashi (踊足), lit. “Dancing feet.”  This is likely a galloping gait on the left lead.  A full description can be found in the book, “Lost Traditions: Horses and Horse Medicine in pre-Modern Japan.”
